Canadian Museum of Nature Bird Gallery
BaAM Productions worked with the Canadian Museum of Nature and Designer Origin Studios to produce and install the graphics, millwork and interactives for the CMN’s new Bird Gallery. Boasting 500 feathered specimens, this Gallery has earned the distinction of being the "most complete exhibition of Canadian birds" ever developed. BaAM coordinated the design development of all interactives through weekly meetings with a geographically diverse team. BaAM’s project management team worked closely with the millwork fabricator and the interactive producer through design and production, supervising adjustments as required to integrate interactives into the exhibits.
BaAM’s graphics staff assessed client-supplied graphic files, prepared files for production, and sourced and recommended production specifications. BaAM also ensured the quality production of graphics by five different vendors using a broad range of production methods and substrates. BaAM then managed shipping and logistics for all graphics, millwork, and interactives and supervised the installation of all components at the museum.
