2014 T-Mobile All-Star FanFest - Minneapolis, MN

It’s true.  There’s no place a baseball lover would rather be than at the T-Mobile All-Star FanFest.  And this year, the largest baseball fan event in the world took place in Minneapolis – home of the Minnesota Twins – from July 11 - 15.

The 2014 T-Mobile All-Star FanFest delivered fan-favorite attractions like interactive games, baseball clinics, autograph booths, exhibit displays and more.  Some new elements were also added this year, making it a particularly mobile-friendly event for baseball fans.  The event’s title sponsor, T-Mobile, installed mobile charging stations throughout the FanFest site.  MLB amped up the mobile experience by including a social media wall broadcasting fan comments and photos in real-time and multiple social media stations to encourage social sharing.

From mobile-friendly to eco-friendly, MLB’s ongoing environmental leadership was celebrated at this year’s event,  which featured displays about the green efforts taken by MLB and the Minnesota Twins.  A “Go Green” theme day highlighted sustainability, providing opportunities to recycle old phones or gently-used baseball equipment and distributing free re-usable tote bags to fans.

Hats off to all of those who joined BaAM for this exciting edition of MLB All-Star FanFest! Special thanks also to MSI Productions, UPA Production Services, Minneapolis Convention Center, and GES.
