Valuable asset: Diamonds touring exhibit

Spring 2009 saw the opening of Diamonds at Dynamic Earth in Sudbury, ON. This 2,000 sq ft bilingual travelling exhibit explores how diamonds are formed, mined, evaluated and cut, and helps visitors understand why Canadian diamonds are among the most valued in the world. Working closely with the Dynamic Earth Project Director and staff scientists, BaAM took exhibit concepts through design development in order to bring the concepts to life. The final design had to meet specified criteria for tourability: durable enough for five years of touring and flexible enough to be configured in venues of different sizes.

BaAM also helped to oversee all aspects of the exhibit’s production and fabrication, and completed all interpretive graphic and logo design.
