Toronto Zoo

BaAM Productions worked with CLRdesign of Philadelphia to develop the interpretive layer supporting new animal exhibits about the Canadian tundra. The first phase of a major redevelopment of the Zoo’s North Site, the project required that all graphics, media, and interactives complement proposed architecture and landscape design for both indoor and outdoor exhibits.

BaAM developed content for the interpretive components in consultation with the Zoo’s interpretive department and animal experts, and brought in content experts from Science North in Sudbury to set priorities for the visitor experience. At the close of the design development phase, BaAM produced a tender package that allowed the Zoo to select a vendor partner.

BaAM provided on-site supervision for the installation of these interpretive components, and will continue to work with the project team on future phases of the Zoo’s North Site redevelopment.

BaAM’s Role:

Interpretive Planning/Content Development, Design Development, Design Detailing, Project Management, Site Supervision
