
Lucy Strong Head of Strategy
Lucy leads BaAM’s growth strategy. She is responsible for leading the company’s business development efforts and overseeing its marketing initiatives.
With 25+ years of experience on three continents, Lucy has advised sports organizations like the Chinese Olympic Committee, The World Badminton World Federation and the Japan Rugby Football Union on their go-to-market strategy. She also has negotiated partnerships for and developed the complementary marketing campaigns on behalf of some of the world’s most respected global brands including – MasterCard, Siemens, Pfizer and BMW.
Prior to joining BaAM, Lucy led development of the sponsorship practice at Arrow Electronics (a FORTUNE 109 company) and, while based in Beijing, served as Vice President – Asia for Octagon where she oversaw the agency’s activities and commercial strategy for the region.
Lucy has sold more $300MM in sponsorship and during her career has negotiated a number of “partnership firsts” including:
- BMW and the Chinese Olympic Committee (the first for a foreign brand)
- Siemens and Disney (the first of this size and scale for a B2B company with Disney)
- Pfizer and the PGA TOUR (the first for a pharmaceutical company)
She loves dogs, ice cream and a good story.
